MOPO Woodcraft began as more than just a shop; it started with a spark of inspiration & a deep love for working with wood. My name is Doug Eaglebear, woodworking has been a part of my life since junior high school — over 30 years ago now. What started as a hobby quickly became a lifelong passion, and though my path has taken a few turns, that love for craftsmanship never faded.
For 17 years, I worked as a Low Voltage Electrician. Then I shifted gears and dove into Building Design, where I’ve spent the last 12+ years designing homes and light commercial spaces. All of that experience — the hands-on electrical work, the detailed design thinking — has come full circle and now pours into every piece I create.
MOPO Woodcraft is a small, part-time workshop tucked near Portland, Oregon. It’s where creativity, skill, and heart come together in every handcrafted project. With each piece of wood I shape, I hope to bring a little bit of joy and goodness into the world.
